Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy empowers you to progress toward greater health and freedom from disease. Using the time-tested principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being, yoga therapy with Cynthia includes a personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups.

Yoga is an evidence-based system of self-investigation, self-transformation, and self-realization. Yoga Therapy is a process of caring for the whole health of an individual by applying classic philosophy and teachings integrated with modern scientific findings to increase our quality of life. 

Individual Sessions include a comprehensive, assessment with next steps in a plan customized for you. Recommendations may include movement, lifestyle shifts, and other exercises to bring your body into balance. Conducted in-person or via Zoom.

Specialty Group Sessions are designed to support healing of specific health conditions in a supportive small group. Activities may include yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery. Conducted in-person or via Zoom. Current groups include people living with Parkinson’s Disease, stress, MS, trauma, and anxiety/depression.
